The Rev. Joanna Hollis

The Reverend Joanna Hollis embodies a life dedicated to ministry and education. Before her call to the priesthood, she was an educator who taught Japanese in Japan for two years. Rev. Hollis received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Japanese from Connecticut College and a Master of Arts in teaching a foreign language from the Monterey Institute of International Studies. Her academic pursuits included a summer at Doshisha University and a Fulbright Scholarship for advanced Japanese study.

Following her call to ministry, Rev. Hollis earned a Master's in Divinity from the Church Divinity School of the Pacific in Berkeley, California. She served as the Rector of Christ Episcopal Church in New Brunswick, New Jersey for twelve years. Her ministry at All Souls Anglican Episcopal Church began on Sunday, August 31, 2025.
